How it works
ADSL works in a similar way to the general dial up connection and has the ability to bring broadband to the home using the copper network. Unlike dial up, which uses the phone to make a connection, ADSL works alongside frequencies used for voice calling. Thus it allows a person to make a phone call while using the internet.
