Summary of the roles main focus

The primary purpose of the account manager role is to conduct retention and sales tasks. The account managers also helps facilitate our service tasks, but the majority of this work is done by the technical support representative role. Our company can additionally solution other products and services via third part suppliers. If and when these opportunities arise the sales and support tasks are generally carried out by other organizations but may require co-ordination activities.

The sales team is responsible for managing a portfolio of business customers to whom our business provides telecommunications network services. These services include outbound calling, toll free calling, fixed line access (PSTN, ISDN, SIP Trunks), internet (generally fibre broadband), mobile, data (WAN), hosted PBX, audio conferencing, managed services (eg on-line backup), data centre/business continuity and other associated value added products.The day to day customer facing activities undertaken in the team fall into three broad categories: providing consultative service, retention of customers on a commercial level and sales of additional services.

We are after a graduate who can build great relationships with our customers, and successfully sell our products and services. You will be passionate about reaching daily and weekly targets. You will want to know all about our telecommunications business solutions and how best to sell them to our business partners.

Working as part of a small dynamic team within our company, this role is predominantly face-to-face sales. You’ll be utilizing your customer service and sales skills while approaching customers door-to-door in various residential areas to promote and sell our Fibre Broadband internet packages.

About You: You understand what its like to be on the phones one moment, supporting a team with call listening and reporting and being involved in rostering and  KPI management.  Your strength is your ability to be technically sound and qualified.  You will need to have experience in raising the “bar” when it comes to being the technical expert for our call centre.
